Dear Friends, we wanted to give you a little update about our bus situation. A few weeks ago, we told you that the transmission had gone out. When we parked the bus at the shop, we did not have the money to fix it. By the time we went to pick it up, the Lord had provided every penny we needed! The man fixing our bus called Punkin on the day he was to pick it up and told him that it would not start. He said when he looked at the motor, there was water leaking. He said it could possibly be the head, which would be the best case scenario. If it wasn’t the head, we would probably be looking at replacing the whole motor…but we would not know this until they could pull the motor out to look at it. When they pulled out the motor, they said it looked like it was the factory motor and had not been taken care of at all. When we got the bus, we were told that the motor had been replaced recently, so the fact that it was the factory motor was a complete SUPRISE to us. So, we are going to have to replace the motor. We are trusting that He will do the same as He did with the transmission and provide what we need. They are estimating at least $10,000 to replace the motor and all the other repairs that will have to be done. We’re asking that you please pray that the Lord will provide this money. As of right now, we are traveling in Punkin’s truck and pulling a trailer everywhere we go. I’ve told Punkin that you don’t realize what a blessing the bus is until you are trying to catch a few hours of sleep sitting up in the car or when the kids are trying to sleep sitting straight up in the back of the truck, knowing they have to be at school the next morning. Once again, we ask that you pray that the Lord will provide and our bus will be back on the road soon. We also ask that you prayerfully consider helping us with this. As I mentioned, they have said at least $10,000. This did not come as a surprise to God and we know that this amount, while it seems so big to us, is not something our God cannot handle. We ask the question all the time, “Who is Jesus to you?” He is our PROVIDER and the ONE WHO MEETS ALL OUR NEEDS! Thank you so much friends for praying for us and loving us the way you do!
